Crazy loco hot cocoa ☕️🍫 Anyone know what show I’m referencing? 😆 I’ll give you a hint it was on disney channel! ANYWHO let’s get into this color process using all @guytang_mydentity. Scroll to see the before 👉🏼👉🏼 I started by balayaging her hair using #Mydentity Magnum8 + Big9 lighteners MIXED TOGETHER: I get asked this question a lot so I thought I would clarify, our lighteners are safe to mix together to create a hybrid consistency. Giving you the spreadability of Magnum8 while giving you the lift of Big9, I generally mix them equal parts with each other and then of course add my developer to that. Developer ratios: For highlights I’ll mix 1:1 or 1:1 1/2, for balayage I mix 1:1 1/2 or 1:2 depending on what I’m working with, and for color correcting I mix 1:3. To see how well she lifted check out my insta story 📖 there’s a clip on there showing how light we got her. After lifting her up I went back in with #mydentity demi-permanent color using 5BB (Brown Beige) + 6RR (Rose Red) + CC (Crystal Clear) to create this custom warm chocolate to tone for her. One thing I love about demi-permanent color is that it can be applied on damp hair so I didn’t have to go back through and blow dry her, I just rinsed the lightener out and applied it on damp. Processed for 25 minutes and then blowdried/styled her. I also used @olaplex every step of the way.

#Mydentity 9AR into 10RG 🦄 My client came in with about 6 inches of new growth and faded out level 10 blonde that had this tiny bit of a green tint left in it. I WISH I got a before picture but I’m completely forgot 🤦🏼‍♂️ But I had my husband @hubbardhair help me tag team this one using Big9 and Magnum8 lighteners to lift up her base. Fully dried her hair and applied 9AR Amber Rose 🌹 at the base mixing it with 6 volume, let that process for a few minutes while I mixed up her 10RG Rose Gold for the rest. The reason why I’m using permanent instead of demi permanent for this is because of that little bit of green she had left on her ends, I want to utilize the 10RG to counteract and neutralize that green leaving me with this tone she now has on her ends. I processed the color for 35 minutes on dry hair and styled with my wand. Used @olaplex every step of the way 🙌🏼 #guytangmydentity #olaplexeveryservice
