'Reina de la Canción' 2019: Pedro Capó, Natti Natasha & More Confirmed To Participate As Judges & Mentors

"Reina de la Canción” will feature the following famous artists and Latin music industry legends coming together for the first time to musically develop and mentor the young women who will be competing to become the next Latina music superstar.

Here is what we know:

  • Multi-faceted artist Pedro Capó will co-host and serve as the Artistic Director of the competition.

  • Latin Grammy winning producer, musician and composer Sergio George will serve as musical director.
  • Judges will include Urban and Latin pop sensation Natti Natasha, regional Mexican star, singer songwriter Joss Favela and iconic, timeless tropical superstar, Olga Tañón.

  • Univision's on-air personality Alejandra Espinoza will be the host.

The Univision show aims to transcend the category of singing competition, with an emphasis on uplifting, empowering stories of women breaking barriers and elevating musical genres.

Starting Saturday, June 1st in Miami, open casting calls will be held across the country for musical experts to find Latinas who possess the winning combination. "Reina de la Canción" will premiere in Fall 2019.
