'Jeopardy' Host Alex Trebek Reveals Cancer Diagnosis: “I’m Going to Fight This”

Alex Trebek, the iconic host of “Jeopardy!” revealed on Wednesday that he has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

Trebek said in a video posted to YouTube, that he will attempt to finish out this season of the show noting he has three years left on his current contract.

"Now normally, the prognosis for this is not very encouraging, but I’m going to fight this, and I’m going to keep working,” Trebek said in the clip. "And I'm going to keep working and with the love and support of my family and friends and I plan to beat the low survival rate statistics for this disease."
