Married at First Sight is probably the most awkward reality show known to mankind. Going strong in its 6th season on Lifetime, this show chronicles three couples who agree to marry when they first meet. After tying the knot, they spend eight weeks as a married couple and then choose to stay together or get a divorce. Why is there such a show? IDK!
What I do know is that the Danish-based series also has its own version rolling in Australia. In Married at First Sight Australia, we're introduced to couple Carly and Justin, who according to Now To Love, have called it quits after the show due to their non-existent chemistry.
The show's YouTube channel recently unearthed an episode where they went to a sex therapist to help them with their lack of intimacy issues.
"I'm going to get you to touch... explore each other's bodies," the sex expert named Trish told the couple as she ~creepily~ watched them. "I want you just to start touching and find out the parts of your body that you like to be touched."
Carl and Justin were uncomfortable for obvi reasons, but that didn't stop Trish from taking her love sesh to the bedroom, where she encouraged them to spoon each other. "I think it's kind of awkward right now with you watching us, Trish," said Justin.
If watching the episode was cringe-worthy, imagine being the ex-couple! Here's how fans are reacting on social media:
