On November 25, Gilmore Girls will return to the small screen for first time in almost 10 years. The WB show wrapped in 2007, but a four-part Netflix revival called Gilmore Girls: A year in the life, has been highly anticipated by Gilmore fans since Netflix announced it.
Although this may be the first time we see a lot of the cast on such a big platform since the show wrapped, they’ve all been nothing short of busy on different projects, and in different areas.
1. Lauren Graham
Graham performed on Broadway and in big Hollywood blockbusters likeEvan Almightyand The Pacifier, but she really tugged on our heartstrings in the NBC show Parenthood. Her second book, Talking As Fast As I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls (and Everything In Between) comes out on Nov 29.
2. Alexis Bledel
The blue-eyed beauty has been in movies like The Good Guy, Post Grad, andJenny’s Wedding, but she’s also dipped her toes in the world of television. She met her husband Vincent Kartheiser while guest starring on the AMC show, Mad Men, and gave birth to a baby boy in 2015.
3. Scott Patterson
Since leaving Luke’s Diner, Patterson has starred in three Saw movies, and worked on TV shows90210, The Event, andCSI Miami, among others. He’s married to actress Kristine Sarayan.
4. Melissa McCarthy
We’ve seen McCarthy all over the big screen, especially in comedies such asBridesmaids, Identity Thief, The Heat, Tammy, and The Boss, among others. She’s been so successful, that in 2015, she was second on Forbes’ list of highest paid actresses.
5. Kelly Bishop
The Gilmore matriarch was on Law and Order: SVU and The Good Wife, and films A Novel Romance and Friends With Kids. In 2011, she spent six months in theater, on the revival of Anything Goes. She’s been married to TV personality Lee Leonard since 1981.
6. Keiko Agena
Agena has been active on the podcast scene and co-founded her own with comedian Will Choi calledDrunk Monk. She’s also guest starred on a number of shows, including ER and Private Practice.
7. Liza Weil
Weil’s TV career has blown up in the past few years, especially onABC’s Thank God It’s Thursday produced by Shonda Rhimes. She’s starring on How to Get Away With Murder and has been on Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, and Scandal. In 2010, she gave birth to a baby girl with then-husband Paul Adelstein, but the couple has since divorced.
8. Milo Ventimiglia
Ventimiglia has been busy on many TV shows including Heroes, The Whispers, and Gotham. and is now starring onNBC’sThis Is Us. He was also on That’s My Boy and Grown Ups 2.
9. Matt Czuchry
You probably remember Czuchry from his brief stint on Friday Night Lights, but he’s been starring on The Good Wife since 2009. He’s been nominated for Emmy’s, Screen Actors Guild Awards, and three Teen Choice Awards.
10. Jared Padalecki
Padalecki has been starring in Supernatural since 2005. In 2015 he opened up about his battle with depression and launched a campaign to benefit the To Write Love On Her Arms organization. He and his wife have two sons and just announced they’re expecting a third baby.
