We already have something new to binge on Netflix. This Monday (19), the streaming platform released the first trailer for "The Politician", a new series by Ryan Murphy, creator of "Glee" and "American Horror Story" - and by the looks of it, it will have a little bit of both.
With Jessica Lange and Gwyneth Paltrow in the cast, the series has a high school as its main setting and tells the story of a bloody quest for power.
The protagonist of the series is Payton (Ben Platt), a student at an elite school in California, who has always dreamed of being president of the United States. But first, he will need to survive a much worse political scenario: the school.
To elect himself as president of the Student Body and secure a place at Harvard, he will need to make many sacrifices and face dangerous enemies.
Besides Gwyneth and Jessica - who has worked with Ryan Murphy in "American Horror Story" - the protagonist Ben Platt is also very talented: the actor from "Pitch Perfect" has won a Tony, the most recognized award in the theater. Lucy Boynton, from "Bohemian Rhapsody", and Zoey Deutch, from the romantic comedy "Set It Up".
"The Politician" premieres on November 27th, on Netflix.
