Samsung and Apple need to seriously quit it with the competition. Besides, 2018 is NOT the year for iPhones or Galaxy's—it's the year of the Zanco tiny t1! There. I said it.
What was originally created as a joke, according to Business Insider, is now a popular product on Kickstarter, with over 1,000 backers and over $60,000 in funds.
Officially the World's Smallest Mobile Phone, the tiny t1 is a fully functional device where you can talk and text (sorry, no Instagram on this baby).
According to its creators, the phone is smaller than your thumb, lighter than a coin, and ridiculously cute.

Seemingly, this is the gadget of 2018. It's ideal as a backup or emergency phone. It's perfect for traveling light, for runners, for cyclists, and any sport, really. I'm not gonna lie, it looks convenient AF.
According to the Kickstarter campaign, the Zanco tiny t1 "will work with any mobile phone network and you can change the nano-SIM at any time if you want to change your network too." It operates on the 2G network and has a battery lifetime of 180 minutes talk time and three days on standby.
Here are some of its features:
- 300 Phonebook memory
- Stores 50 SMS Messages
- Stores the last 50 in/out numbers
- Nano Sim
- 32RAM + 32ROM
- 12.5mm OLED screen
- Micro USB charger
- 13 Voice changers
