Jennifer Lopez's love life has been a part of our lives since forever.
She was married to Cuban waiter Ojani Noa in the '90s. She dated rapper P. Diddy in 1999. She married background dancer Cris Judd in 2001. She was engaged to actor Ben Affleck (remember Bennifer?). From 2004 to 2011, she dated, married, and even had twins with her longtime friend and Puerto Rican salsa singer, Marc Anthony. In 2011 they called it splits and that same year she embarked a 5-year on-off relationship with her background dancer Casper Smart. Now, she's happily in love with former MLB player, Alex Rodriguez.
At 48 years-old, it seems as if JLo has finally found "the one." At least that's what we believe when she gushes over her new bae.
“I do believe in marriage and I would love to grow old with somebody in a committed relationship," she told Harpers Bazaar when asked if she would tie the knot again. "But I’m not forcing anything right now. It’s good, it’s healthy; we communicate well," she continued about her relationship with A-Rod.
"We understand each other’s lives in a way that most other people couldn’t. We both entered the public eye in our early 20s and overachieved right from the start. And that affects every dynamic in your life, from your family to your work to your relationships. We have a similar makeup," she said of her 42-year-old boyfriend.
That's all we really want in a relationship—someone who's understanding, especially of our career and lifestyle. Is that so much to ask for? Thank you J-Rod for giving us mad #RelationshipGoals.
