Eva Longoria has been a new mom for a while now and she's ready to talk about the new challenges of balancing motherhood and work at the same time, specially now that she's the executive producer behind the new ABC show "Grand Hotel."

“Going back to work was hard. Breastfeeding while working was hard, just for the timing of the pumping and the feedings and the sleeping and the not sleeping,” she said — but, “You just do it and get it done.”

Longoria is the executive producer behind the a new provocative drama series about a family-owned hotel in Miami Beach. The hour-long weekly show features household names such as Academy Award nominee Demian Bichir, Roselyn Sanchez, Jencarlos Canela and Wendy Raquel Robinson in addition to fresh talent like Denyse Tontz, Lincoln Younes, Bryan Craig, Shalim Ortiz and Justina Adorno.

“I feel there’s more pressure to raise a good man today in this world and to make sure he understands equality and feminism,” she says. “But it’s not about telling him, it’s about showing him in his everyday life.”

“The stakes are higher now that I have a child,” she adds in the interview. “I need to make sure I’m doing my part to leave the world a better place — for him and for all the children of our future.”
