Audrey Hepburn is most likely one who comes to mind when talking about style icons. Hepburn's style has transcended generations, and people around the world try to emulate her to this day.
I don’t wanna say Hepburn is overrated because that’s just malarkey, but she’s definitely idolized when talking about fashion. She's the obvious choice, as are other icons like Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, and Diana Ross. However, I have a few underrated style icons in mind. These don't get the credit due. Brace yourself, it’s gonna be an interesting ride.
1. Daria Morgendorffer
I know this choice sounds silly, but I have seen girls dressing like this for a while now. I actually love this knew 90s grunge revival everyone is going for these days. Daria’s style is pretty on trend today, so if there’s anyone to model your look after, it’s her.
2. Roger Klotz
If you grew up watching Dougon Nickelodeon, chances are you hated Roger Klotz. I know I did. He was the bully that Doug had to deal with in school. Growing up, I’ve analyzed his fashion sense, and I’ve come to the conclusion that he was pretty fashionable. This character has been compared to Macklemore endlessly. And you can’t ignore Roger's style kind of favors James Dean.
Hear me out on this one. When suggesting Mystique as a style icon, I don’t mean for you to be naked and paint your body blue like the X-Men character. Body hugging jumpsuits are really in this year. This look is not only approved by the Kardashians themselves, but it’s also approved by the sexiest of X-Men: Mystique.

Don’t act like Urban Outfitters and American Apparel didn’t sell things that looked like it came from Screech’s closet. Obviously you can modify his look by toning it down a bit, but why not add a little color to your wardrobe by taking some style inspiration from our favorite geek.
