With just one simple click, many people have the power of knowing personal information of other individuals. In the world we live, not everyone is honest about their life story. There are people who would make up so many lies just to get what they want. This is why I think it is important to Google our dates, and of course, under our own discretion.
Find out why no one here is judging you for doing a little research before going on a date with someone you know little about.
Married Or Taken?
Honestly, it doesn’t matter if your date is a male or a female―people lie! With the use of the internet, you could actually find a person’s social media page, and there see any compromising pictures regarding his or her marital status. Also, there are an array of websites that charge for a complete screening reflecting any present-legal relationship.
Stay in control, and don’t date anyone that’ll play with your feelings because they're already tied down to someone else. You’re worth so much more!
Anything regarding the involvement of the police is not something that many people feel comfortable sharing. There are individuals who wouldn’t mind lying about being on probation, or anything regarding their criminal history. Don’t just date someone who would put your life in danger, be smart about it, and find out if he/she has a history with the police.
Child support is very serious, and some people simply don’t care about paying it. This situation could lead to future problems within the relationship you could potentially be in. Therefore, make sure to look for the existence of any children, just in case a lie is tossed into the air! It's not that you're ruling out someone with kids, but if they do have kids you want to know that they love their offspring enough to care for them properly and show them off to the world with pride.
Existence Of A Job
Sometimes, most of those fancy cars that are showed off by your date may be rented or borrowed. There’s nothing wrong with dating someone who doesn’t have a job. In fact, it’s admirable when people empower each other, while growing together. But what you don’t want is someone who would spend the money they don’t have on material goods, just to impress you. In the long run, this could become a habit, and having arguments regarding finances is not a fun thing.
Don't be ashamed of Googling your next date. Sure you don't want to spoil all the mysteries about someone new, but it is also important to feel secure, especially while sharing time with someone who could possibly become more than just a friend. Be very cautious about who you share your home, car, and personal information with, not everyone is who they appear to be!
