Although she's back on social media and in the public eye, Selena Gomez is still keeping very lowkey—especially about her relationship with Justin Bieber (but that's another story!)
Putting her love life aside, we're happy to let all of the faithful #Selenators know that the 25-year-old singer will be part of the upcoming Doctor Dolittle movie called The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle.
Starring Robert Downey Jr. as the physician who can talk to animals, Gomez will take on the role of voicing one of those animals, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Other celebs already on board this magical project include Tom Holland, Emma Thompson, and Ralph Fiennes as animal voice-overs and Michael Sheen and Antonio Banderas as live-action roles.
This classic family film has been a part of everyone's lives since as far as the children’s books by Hugh Lofting released in the 1920s.
It's been adapted as a radio series, as a musical, and tons of movies. The most memorable one for us '90s kids is the 1998 flick starring Eddie Murphy. The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle will begin production in London and is slated for its debut on April 12, 2019.
