Grab your colorful scrunchies and your sticker collection because Lisa Frank is making a comeback, but this time it’s on the big screen.
The trippy film, currently in development, will be a hybrid of animation and live-action, and will count on the production expertise of Jon Shestack—who also produced Air Force One and Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past.
The Lisa Frank feature has no title, but Shestack tells Variety:
“Lisa Frank’s world is cheerful, it’s optimistic, it’s hip, but it is without snark, it’s just sort of impossible to scowl when you’re smiling, and why would you want to? I’m so stoked to be part of this.”
