Forget the same ol', same ol' Barbie with blonde hair, blue eyes, and the perfect beach body. New dolls are here to make every child feel identified. There are plus size dolls, petite dolls, and hijab-wearing dolls, to name a few.
Now, toy manufacturer Mattel is including a new Barbie who is a proud supporter of the LGBTQ community. Flaunting her "Love Wins" tee, this new doll was inspired by Fashion Blogger and Businesswoman Aimee Song.

My LA friend and one of my main Insta-inspirations is Aimee Song of @songofstyle! It’s easy to sing her praises with all that she has accomplished! A @NYTimes Best-Selling author, @Forbes 30 Under 30, and of course, one of the original and most fashionable, followed social superstars! She’s truly one-of-a-kind! ⭐️ #barbie #barbiestyle
"Me and BarbieStyle supporting equal rights because #LOVEWINS or as some of you have speculated, maybe we’re secretly dating," the influencer expressed.
"When I knew I was getting my own Barbie doll, it was super important for me to have the Barbie represent who I was and what I believe in and obviously dress like me! Can’t thank the entire Mattel Barbie team enough for letting my Barbie be ME!" she added.
During Pride Month, Song dropped a line of “Love Wins” t-shirts with 50 percents of all proceeds benefitting the Trevor Project, anon-profit organization focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.
People on the internet are so here for this doll, are you?
