Whether you're a fan or not, there's no denying that Cardi B is living her best life. Her hit Bodak Yellow skyrocketed her career in 2017, the same year she was nominated for a GRAMMY and landed bomb collaborations with Bruno Mars and Ozuna.
From making money moves at the strip club to building her empire as one of the hottest women in music, Cardi—besides the fame and all—is one real AF person.
The 25-year-old hip-hop artist is currently making the rounds with her new album Invasion of Privacy, making headlines because of her pregnancy (with baby daddy Offset), and soon, dropping a new clothing line with Fashion Nova. Despite her busy schedule, the Dominican singer still has time to open up about her body insecurities.
"All right, here's the thing," she confessed to GQ about her butt implants. "When I was 21, I did not have enough meat on my body—if I was to get lipo, I wouldn't have fat for my ass." Cardi admitted to the magazine that she wanted a bigger butt for two reasons.
- Because "her boyfriend had recently cheated on her with a woman who 'had a fat, big ass.'"
- Because "she'd observed that her colleagues with big asses made more money than she did stripping, regardless of dancing technique."
Cardi told GQ that she began her transformation four years ago in an apartment basement in Queens for only $800. It was the "craziest pain ever."
