As if McDonald's didn't bless us enough with their $1, $2, $3 menu released early 2018, they are now rolling out more burger options!
But first, let's backtrack for a second. In 2017, the fast-food chain introduced two new burgers inspired by the Big Mac: The Grand Mac and Mac Jr. It was the perfect trio, TBH. ❤
Like every good thing in life, they were being sold for a limited-time only. *Sobs uncontrollably*
But come 2018, and these bad boys are back in town! Meaning, back on the menu with the original Big Mac that was first introduced in 1967.
“The Big Mac is a legend and a great-tasting burger with hints of pickle relish, mustard, garlic, and onions,” said McDonald’s Chef Mike Haracz in a press release. “We listened to our customers who told us they wanted different ways to enjoy the one-of-a-kind Big Mac taste. The classic combination of ingredients remains timeless and customers around the world continue to enjoy its signature taste.”
Here's what you can expect from each burger:
- The Grand Mac is made with two 100 percent pure beef patties for a total of one-third pound with two slices of melty American cheese and iconic special sauce served on a larger sesame seed bun with crisp lettuce, California minced onions, and tangy pickles. Each Big Mac patty is seasoned to perfection with salt and pepper in McDonald’s kitchens.
- The Mac Jr. is a single-layer Big Mac that’s easier to eat on the go. The 100 percent pure beef patty is bigger and packs in all the flavor of the Big Mac without the middle bun.
