If you're a big fan of breakfast, chances are you already think it's a pretty magical meal. However, a food stylist from Florida named Adeline Waugh has created a new, delicious breakfast food that is just waaaay to pretty to eat.
The new creation? Mermaid Toast, complete with blue green algae powder and homemade almond milk cheese. Meaning, yes, not only is it edible, but it's healthy!
Waugh also tops it with some edible gold flakes to make just that much more magical.

Shades of blue 🌊 (both the caption I thought of for this photo & the title of one of j.lo's many endeavors) not sure what to call this...but I'm thinking mermaid toast, as to continue the tradition of naming toast after mythical creatures. I used a variety of blue green algae powders and liquids mixed with almond milk cream cheese to create this ocean inspired toast 💙 #vibrantandpure #mermaidtoast #unicorntoast #vibranttoast
What makes blue green algae so good for you? It's full of antioxidants and helps keep your cells healthy and able to regenerate. It also may be able to help boost the amount of vitamin B12 in your body, which keeps red blood cells healthy. This powder can be added to some regular (or flavored!) cream cheese if you're not a vegan, but what's wonderful about Waugh's original creation is that it contains no animal by-products!
If you're not a vegan, regular cream cheese can be used, and hey , if you're feeling a little adventurous, you might want to try it topped with some fruit or sweetener, like honey or agave.
The *magical* possibilities are endless!
