A-Rod open up about Jennifer Lopez‘s exciting Super Bowl halftime show announcement.
“It’s been a dream of hers ever since she watched Diana Ross soar,” he said to People, “I’m so proud of her for not just hoping, but working for all these years to make it happen. She is going onto that stage representing all of us: Latinos, immigrants, people of every age and color.”
In a press release, Lopez shared: "Ever since I saw Diana Ross fly off into the sky at the Halftime Show, I dreamed of performing at the Super Bowl. And now it's made even more special not only because it's the NFL's 100th anniversary, but also because I am performing with a fellow Latina. I can't wait to show what us girls can do on the world's biggest stage."
The Super Bowl will take place February 2, 2020 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
