Looking like a celebrity can have its ups and downs. It's all fun and games when they say you look like Leonardo DiCaprio or Beyoncé, but it can get quite annoying when people begin to confuse you in public and start asking for selfies.
One high school teen from the Bay Area in California is enjoying her 15-seconds of fame after being compared to—of all people—Regina George of Mean Girls.
What started off as a simple tweet on April's account...
Blossomed to a viral topic after Twitter user @XMargo unearthed the similarity...
Clearly, April resembles Regina, portrayed by Rachel McAdams, who was also the leading star in The Notebook.
In less than 48 hours, her photo went viral for the obvious reason and people on Twitter were obsessed.
In an interview with BuzzFeed, April said that this is the first time anyone has ever compared her to the character.
"No one has ever told me that I look like her before," she said, adding that she's a huge fan of Mean Girls. "And I don't necessarily agree with the comparison just because my hair is naturally curly, but in the picture maybe I look like her a little bit. I find the comparison quite funny!"
The million dollar question is: Is she mean, tho'?
