In-N-Out Burger is all the rage on the West Coast. With burgers, fries, and shakes, this is ~literally~ the "it" place to grub.
It's so popular that even Aziz Ansari and Guillermo del Toro celebrated their Golden Globes wins with some In-N-Out food.
Unlike McDonald's, which is often revamping their options, In-N-Out pretty much stays true to its menu. In fact, to people's surprise, the California-based burger joint has kicked off 2018 by introducing a new item: hot cocoa.
This is the first time in 15 years that they add a new item to their menu. But this isn't the first time the cozy drink makes its debut. The first time it was sold was in 1950, just two years after In-N-Out opened, according to Business Insider.
"I'm not sure how it fell off the menu but it's part of our culture and something special for kids, and I'm happy that we're bringing it back," In-N-Out President Lynsi Snyder told FOX11 LA. "For a certain generation, hot cocoa is an In-N-Out classic, and we hope it will be a favorite of a new generation. It's quality cocoa from Ghiradelli and yes, we serve it with marshmallows!"
The hot cocoa, which sells for $1.60, is made with hot water, Ghirardelli chocolate, and topped with marshmallows. Here's how Twitter's handling it.
