Starbucks is always stepping up their game with new inventions. Take for example its newest Horchata Frappuccino.
It entails: almond milk, cinnamon dolce syrup, coffee, and ice blended together topped with whipped cream, a swirl of caramel, and cinnamon and sugar sprinkles. Sounds like something made of dreams.
There's also no catch because the new Horchata Almondmilk Frappuccino made its debut on August 8 across Starbucks stores in the U.S. and Canada.
If you like the sound and look of it, but are a bit confused as to what Horchata is, let us school you.
Horchata is the name of several kinds of beverages, made of ground almonds, sesame seeds, rice, barley, tigernuts, or melon seeds. It's very popular in Latin America, especially in Mexico and across Central America.
Meanwhile, the drink literally just dropped and people on the internet are already living for it. Unicorn Frappe, who?
According to the official statement, the Starbucks Horchata Almondmilk Frappuccino is "the perfect beverage to end the summer and welcome fall. The creamy and cool texture – ideal for warm August days – is complemented by sweet caramel and warm spice flavors of cinnamon which hint that fall is near."
