Sure, it's definitely the warmest season of them all, but also time for the beach, relaxation, pool parties, vacations, and of course, no school!

There are many delicious frozen and cold drinks to choose from, including tangy margaritas, ice-cold beers, frozen rosé, and glasses filled with piña colada. If you're looking for something a little fruitier and non-alcoholic (and something a bit more colorful!), you might want to opt for this easy and delicious rainbow slushie recipe.

All you need are frozen ice pops that you can get at your local dollar store or grocery store like Walmart. These are the fruity ice pops that you used to enjoy as a kid when you went to the beach or played in the sprinkler during the summer.

These freezer pops are usually pretty cheap (about $1.00-$3.00) for a pack and they come in a variety of different flavors like cherry, lime, grape, orange, and blue raspberry. In order to make this layered rainbow slushie, open the first flavor that you want and crush it up at the bottom of your glass with a fork. You can also crush up the flavor in a small plastic bowl and then transfer it to your cup.

Keep doing this to create different layers of flavors and colors in your glass until you reach the top (as shown in the first image). You can choose any flavor combination! Once you fill your glass, go ahead and stick it in the freezer until you're ready to enjoy it.

If you want to turn your rainbow slushie into an alcoholic drink simply add some vodka or champagne and enjoy!
