12 Starbucks Secret Menu Hacks To Fuel Your Coffee Addiction

The Starbucks “Pink Drink” made a literal splash this summer as the drink of the season. It was all over Instagram, it flooded your Snapchat, and before you knew it, there were like four different colors and you couldn’t get away from them if you tried. The “Pink Drink” was part of the Starbucks “secret menu,” and lucky for us all, it’s not the only item they’ve been holding back. The cool thing about Starbs is that they have so many different flavors and coffees that the combinations are endless.

Here, thanks to Hack The Menu, are some of the best ones. Order away!

1. Apple Pie Frappuccino

The Apple Pie Frap is a combination of cream, apple juice, Cinnamon Dolce syrup, and caramel syrup. Chances are, a barista won’t know what the Apple Pie Frap is by name, so Hack The Menu recommends showing them the recipe.

2. Butterbeer Frappuccino

A fan favorite among Harry Potter fans everywhere, this is a great alternative for those of you that haven’t been able to make it to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando. Hack The Menu says to order a Vanilla Bean Cream Frappuccino and ask for an extra pump or two of both Caramel and Toffee Nut syrups.

3. Cake Batter Frappuccino

Fact: Everything cake batter flavor is delicious. The Cake Batter Frap is no exception. Ask for almond flavoring to be added to a Vanilla Bean Creme Frap.

4. Captain Crunch Berry Frappuccino

Your childhood, in a frap! The Captain Crunch Berry Frappuccino is a regular Strawberries and Creme Frap, with a pump of caramel, a pump of hazelnut, and a pump of toffee. Add java chips and you’re good to go.

5. Cotton Candy Frappuccino

Super simple, super yum. The Cotton Candy Frappuccino is just a Vanilla Bean Frap with 1-2 extra pumps of raspberry syrup.

6. Fruity Pebbles Frappuccino

Not sure about you, but I loved it when my Fruity Pebbles Cereal made my milk taste fruity and delicious. The Fruity Pebbles Frappuccino is that, times 100. Ask for a Strawberries and Creme Frap, with two pumps of vanilla, one pump of raspberry, and a splash of orange-mango juice.

7. Thin Mint Frappuccino

Just recently, I learned that Thin Mint cookies, the Girl Scout’s classic, are ten times better when you put them in the freezer. Cue the Thin Mint Frap. Ask for a Tazo Green Tea Creme frap with two pumps of chocolate syrup, one pump of mint syrup, java chips, and honey. You’re welcome.

8. Green Eye, Black Eye, Red Eye

The Green, Black, and Red Eyes are just regular American iced coffees with different amounts of Espresso shots. For a real caffeine kick, ask for the Green Eye (American coffee with 3 extra shots). The Black eye has two extra shots, and the Red Eye has one. You can also get these hot!

9. Chocolate Pumpkin Latte

If you’re a fan of the Pumpkin Spice Latte but looking to give it an extra pinch of sweetness, ask for the Chocolate Pumpkin Latte. It’s your average PSL with two additional pumps of chocolate syrup. Ask them to top it off with chocolate syrup, NOM.

10. Caramel Snickerdoodle Macchiato

Ask for an Iced Soy Caramel Macchiato (upside-down, so ask them to just mix the layers) with one-two pumps of vanilla syrup and one-two pumps Cinnamon Dolce syrup. Wait until you get to the caramel syrup at the bottom.

11. Liquid Cocaine

Perfect for days when you’re struggling to keep your eyes open, Starb’s Liquid Cocaine is it. Ask for four shots of Espresso, four pumps of white chocolate syrup, ice, and milk. Good luck ever sleeping again.

12. The Undertow

The Undertow is a drip coffee with three pumps of your fave syrup, a splash of milk, and two shots of espresso on top. It comes in a tiny cup and is meant to be taken like a shot. A very, very, hot shot. Maybe just don’t drink it like a shot at all, how’s that?
