Pokémon Go was one of the best things to happen in 2016. Every time you think the craze is about to die down the developers hit us with some special event, upgrades, and the addition of new Pokémon to help keep the buzz around the game high. With that being said, Pokémon has announced more new improvements.
The rollout of Pokémon Go’s second generation of Pokémon is underway. Togepi and Pichu hatching from eggs have been discovered by Professor Willow and now trainers will have a chance to hatch them along with several other Pokémon that were found in the Johto Region from Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver video games.
This is just the first wave of new Pokémon that will be making their way to the Pokémon Go platform over the next few months.
Another part of the new upgrade will put users in a more festive mood, much like the Halloween event the game hosted. Until December 29th users will be able to find limited edition Pikachu scattered throughout the augmented reality world. These Pikachu will be wearing hats to celebrate the season and can be shared via photo when encountered in the wild using the Pokémon Go AR camera. #HolidayPikachu.
