Can you think of anything sweeter than a newborn baby lamb?
There is...newborn baby lambs with donkey "nannies" who carry them up hillsides in northern Italy because the little lambs are too small to make the climb on their own. The donkeys have saddles with spots for the lambs.
According to National Geographic, "in the early spring shepherds drive huge flocks of livestock, here sheep, mules, donkeys, and goats from the Pre-Alpine hills to the plains of Lombardy, for grazing. The newborn lambs are carried in a custom made side saddle by the donkeys, and returned to their mothers at rest time."
This is the best thing we've seen all day!
