If you’ve been trying to lose weight all throughout 2016, and know that you’ve been really trying your hardest (okay, minus the few rum and cokes, cheese pizzas, and late night chicken wing runs), but aren’t seeing results, chances are you feel pretty discouraged.
However, if you’re trying to make weight loss your resolution in 2017, I’ve got something that can kick-start your motivation to work out, and will give you guaranteed results. If you promise me you’ll do this exercise regimen, while also eating healthy foods, I know you’ll see results in a short amount of time.
The workout, called the “Alphabet Challenge,” attaches a kind of exercise to a letter, beginning with A.
B is 10 jumping jacks, D is 5 push-ups, and it goes on like this until you reach Z. The challenge is to see how many letters you can get through (hint: make it through the entire thing for amazing results!).
This full-body workout takes about 25 minutes, and can be really fun to do with friends. Challenge each person to see how far they can get each morning, and then reward the person who gets through the most.
Even if you just want to take the challenge by yourself, it's a great workout you can do right at home either when you wake up or after work in the evening.
It's great for your abs (crunches, mountain climbers, plank), arms (arm circles, burpees), your butt and thighs (wall sit, jumping jacks, and squats), and is a great way to just burn a good amount of calories overall. Get your heart racing and sweat stress away after a long day at work, and hey, while you're at it, you'll also be gettin' that sexy back.
