Unless you've been living under a rock, a Star Wars-themed park has been in the works at Disney Parks because it's obviously the happiest place on Earth.
Rumors about this Galactic project were shut down after it was confirmed at the 2017 Star Wars Celebration in mid-April that it was truly happening.
Now, three months later, Disney has launched the first look of the—not one, but two—parks in a 30-second clip.
Check out the preview:
The two Star Wars-inspired lands are still under construction at the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts, meaning that both the East and West Coasts will enjoy them!
The detailed look at the model will be on display at the 2017 D23 Expo. According to the Disney blog:
Both Star Wars-inspired lands will transport guests to a never-before-seen planet, a remote trading port and one of the last stops before Wild Space, where Star Wars characters and their stories come to life.
Here, guests will find themselves in the middle of the action at two signature attractions: one that lets guests take the controls of Millennium Falcon on a customized secret mission, and an epic Star Wars adventure that puts guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance.
The project, which is a partnership between Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Imagineering, is considered the most ambitious project ever in the history of Walt Disney Imagineering. It's set to open in 2019.
