Further proving that everything good is hidden across the pond (gelato, Prince Harry, the Louvre, need we say more?), Pizza Hut UK announced via Twitter that they’re releasing a mac and cheese pizza, officially combining two of the world’s favorite foods into one.
Available for a limited time only, their “Classic” mac and cheese pie consists of a béchamel base, macaroni, cheese sauce, a triple cheese blend and crispy onions. Because they couldn’t stop at one, they also created “The BBQ One,” a SECOND mac and cheese pizza that basically has everything the “Classic” has, except with a BBQ base and drizzle on top.
Right now, they’re only available in actual Pizza Hut stores, so they don’t deliver them just yet. They run for £21.95, which is about $28. Either way, you can’t have it, but can someone please alert Pizza Hut US to bring these stateside? Seriously, look at that cheese!
BUT WAIT. It gets better. Both pizzas have mac and cheese stuffed crusts too, making them the ultimate carb fest, but really, has anything else ever been more worth it?
Earlier this month, Domino’s UK released their Lotta-Chocca Chocolate Pizza, which got mixed reviews on Twitter, but, I mean… it’s a chocolate pizza. NOM anyways, ya feel? It’s six inches of dough slathered in melted milk chocolate, making it the perfect after Pizza Hut Mac & Cheese Pizza dessert. Unfortunately, since we can’t have nice things, we have no choice but to settle for admiring these delicacies from afar. Until then, we’ll just have to settle for the Cheesy Bites pizza, which, TBH, isn’t a bad option either.
Stay strong, pizza lovers.
